I have a BA in English. Yes, it's as useless as "Avenue Q" says. I'm now in my mid 20s. Yes, it's horrifying, and I went through my share of quarter life crises & existential dilemmas. My hometown is ATL, but I like the following airplane codes: LGA (NYC), LHR (London), CDG (Paris), NAR (Tokyo). I live and breathe pop culture.
In my free time, I collect crazy quotes from fashion people, or famous people talking about fashion.
- "Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels." - Kate Moss
- "Fat mummies sit there in front of the television with their chip packets and say skinny models are ugly." - Karl Lagerfeld
- “If I ruled the world, all men wearing linen suits would be arrested for crimes against aesthetics.” - Bill Nighy
- "Yes, some people say to me you're too skinny, but never a skinny person says that to me, only people who could lose a few pounds say that." - Karl Lagerfeld
- "Have I ever been horrified to see someone in my clothes? Many times, but I close my eyes and look the other way." - Carolina Herrera
- “I am not one of these people that likes the no-makeup makeup look and things like that. I like artificial things. I think that’s what civilization is: artificial, otherwise we’d just be still living in trees.” - Vivienne Westwood
- “Big breasts and lips. No! I hate those girls. I hate famous women. My ideal woman is Serge Gainsbourg. Not that he was a woman.” - Isabel Marant
- “Did you not see the Lindsay and Ungaro collection? That was 9/11 for celebrities doing fashion. After that I thought, ‘Well I can’t do a line now.’” - Kanye West
- “Yeah, you know, wear something unusual to distract from my face. Oldest trick in the book.” - Chloe Sevigny
- “I was at customs in the U.S. the other day and the man checking my passport said to me, ‘Sorry Madam but you look like a clown, why have you got all that stuff on your face?’ and I just replied, ‘I am not a clown actually – I’m just English.’ ” - Zandra Rhodes
- “I don’t smoke and I don’t wear that watch… I also don’t wear long jean shorts.” - George Clooney
- “I think current fashion is too American. It’s T-shirts and shorts all the time.” - Yohji Yamamoto
